Welcome to the all new Jedlie.com. I hope you enjoy all the new pictures and this new mobile friendly format. And I especially hope that you take the time to check out my new “We Choose Respect!!!” podcast. The podcast is produced in two parts. We call part one our kidkast and it is filled with fun, music and a powerful message to choose to respect everyone, every day, every where.

Part two is our parentcast and features an extended interview with authors and parenting experts.  Also, please be sure to download our free weekly ezine filled with word puzzles, mazes, coloring pages and magic lessons.

I also hope you will take a moment to visit my podcast partner audible.com . They have arranged to give all of my friends a free audiobook just for signing up for a free, 30 day trial. There are over 180,000 titles to choose from, (I just finished listening to a book called “Legends and Lies”) The audiobooks can be played on your iphone, android, mp3 player or kindle. And best of all, if you cancel during your 30 day free trial you get to keep the audiobook. You can check it all out by clicking this link to visit audibletrial.com/respect

I have to be honest with you, rebuilding the site was not easy. Well, to be completely honest the rebuilding itself was pretty easy. With the help of a great internet hosting company (three cheers for ihoststudios.com!!!) and a free course I found on Udemy.com I very quickly learned the basics of building web sites with wordpress. What was hard, what was incredibly hard, was getting over the fear of trying to learn something that was new and confusing.

The way I look at it, if an old man like me, someone who has been creating web sites with old, cranky and outdated software can be intimidated by the thought of having to learn something new, even if learning that new thing will make my life 1000 times easier, it must be even more scary for some kids at school.

The theme of my primary school show for the 2015 – 16 school year is “We Choose Respect!!!” I want to use my talents to motivate kids to have self respect, to know that they have the ability to do great things, to have the self respect to do their very best each day. While I am making kids smile and surprising them with my illusions I also want to challenge them to have respect and empathy for everyone they meet, to stand up for anyone they see in need, and to make everyone feel included.
