Kicking Off A Great New School Year

Greetings from North Adams, Massachusetts, in the heart of the Beautiful Berkshire Mountains.

This was the view from my office today, my office being the front seat of my van as I transported myself and my boxes of magical mischief to the northwestern corner of Massachusetts. (Don’t worry, the van was stopped in a safe location when the picture was taken, no distracted driving for this magician.) I will be setting off early tomorrow morning to venture a few more miles north to kick off my 2015 – 16 school year with performances in Pownal and Bennington, Vermont. It will be a return engagement in Pownal, I had the pleasure of motivating these students just a few months back. And as often happens their neighbors in Bennington invited me after they heard about the fantastic reaction the kids and teachers at Pownal had to my motivational school assembly.

Getting off to a great start is important to me. Every year I want my show to be stronger, to be more effective at motivating kids to choose to be respectful of themselves, the people they meet and their communities. I want the kids to love the new routines I have created for the show. And this year I am really excited to be able to invite their families to enjoy the Parentcast.

I know you feel the same way about your kids. You want them to have the very best school year possible. You want them to enjoy learning, you want them to LOVE learning. To help you help your kids get off to a great start I have invited Peggy Richard to the ParentCast. Peggy is a bi lingual, national board certified Early Childhood Educator and certified Yoga instructor. She also has a great love of motivating and empowering kids.
